FAQs

  • Coaching is a confidential, goal-focused partnership that helps professionals enhance their decision-making, communication, and impact. Unlike mentoring, it isn’t about giving advice from experience; unlike therapy, it doesn’t treat clinical issues; and unlike training, it isn’t about delivering content. Coaching helps leaders unlock their own capacity to perform at their best.

  • Professionals who want to grow, adapt, and lead more effectively. Coaching supports performance, wellbeing, and leadership behaviours when there’s a genuine motivation to change.

  • Coaching works best when you have a variety of clearly defined and well-structured goals.

The outcomes of coaching are highly dependent on what you contribute to it: your motivation, your dedication and your desire for change.

We’ll ensure your sessions are focussed on achieving your goals and identify what it’s going to take for you to reach them.

  • ROI reports have found that coaching programmes can deliver returns many times over their cost, especially when goals are clearly defined and measured.

For an organisation, the return on investment could look like improved productivity, communication or retention of highly-skilled employees. For an individual, coaching can support your career progression, or help with finding a new role.

  • I typically work with clients for 6 sessions across a 6-month period. This allows enough time between sessions to put into practice actions that we’ve discussed.

Unlike mentoring or therapy, a coaching relationship is a fixed-duration.

  • Look for a coach with senior-level experience, professional credentials (such as ICF or EMCC), a proven track record, and an approach that fits your needs.

A strong personal fit matters—chemistry between coach and client is one of the biggest predictors of success.

I offer an introductory session free of charge to help establish that what you want to work on can be achieved through coaching and for us to assess if we’d be the right fit to work together.

  • Yes. Confidentiality is a cornerstone of professional coaching. I adhere to the EMCC Code of Ethics for coaching which stipulates strict guidelines around confidentiality.

If your coaching is sponsored through an organisation we may work with a stakeholder or sponsor who will be aware of your goals, but our sessions are always confidential.

  • I price my coaching services on an income-based scale. This ensures I can offer coaching services to people of all circumstances.

Professional coaching is an investment over a fixed-period and I support flexible payment structures. Get in touch to find out more.
